You may have heard about the coming hard crash in the Chinese economy. Here’s a headline from The Economist editors in September 2024:

The real problem with China’s economy The country risks making some of the mistakes the Soviet Union did

The crash in China’s economy has been a long time coming. Shenzou points oput what western magazines have been saying about China since 1990:

1990. The Economist: China's economy has come to a halt.
1996. The Economist: China's economy will face a hard landing.
1998. The Economist: China's economy entering a dangerous period of sluggish growth.
1999. Bank of Canada: Likelihood of a hard landing for the Chinese economy.
2000. Chicago Tribune: China currency move nails hard landing risk coffin.
2001. Wilbanks, Smith & Thomas: A hard landing in China.
2002. Westchester University: China Anxiously Seeks a Soft Economic Landing.
2003. New York Times: Banking crisis imperils China.
2004. The Economist: The great fall of China?
2005. Nouriel Roubini: The Risk of a Hard Landing in China.
2006. International Economy: Can China Achieve a Soft Landing?
2007. TIME: Is China's Economy Overheating? Can China avoid a hard landing?
2008. Forbes: Hard Landing In China?
2009. Fortune: China's hard landing. China must find a way to recover.
2010: Nouriel Roubini: Hard landing coming in China.
2011: Business Insider: A Chinese Hard Landing May Be Closer Than You Think.
2012: American Interest: Dismal Economic News from China: A Hard Landing.
2013: Zero Hedge: A Hard Landing In China.
2014. CNBC: A hard landing in China.
2015. Forbes: Congratulations, You Got Yourself A Chinese Hard Landing.
2016. The Economist: Hard landing looms for China.
2017. National Interest: Is China's Economy Going To Crash.
2018. The Daily Reckoning: China's Coming Financial Meltdown.
2019. BBC: China's Economic Slowdown: How worried should we be?
2020. New York Times: Coronavirus Could End China's Decades-Long Economic Growth Streak.
2021. Bloomberg: Chinese economy risks deeper slowdown than markets realize.
2022. Bloomberg: China Surprise Data Could Spell RECESSION.
2023. Bloomberg: No word should be off-limits to describe China's faltering economy.

… Yet it’s already 2024 and China’s economy is still going strong.

The first couple of minutes of this video1 features economist Dr. Keyu Jin, a professor at the London School of Economics, who makes the point China is a hero not a villain in most of the world:

Ninety percent of the people in today’s world still live in developing countries, and they have a very different view and perspective on China compared to the more hawkish military perspective that we often hear in the West. Chinese technologies are eminently practical, cheaper, and either of the same quality or higher quality. They are intended to address the issues faced by developing countries.

A commenter on the video from Sudan reinforces Jin’s point:

Ask me and every Sudanese citizen you can find and they will tell you the same thing. The US crippled us with economic sanctions to make us comply to thier whims, while China assisted us in every possible way and respected our right to govern ourselves the way we want.

It’s high time we in the West started to cooperate with lower income countries and stopped trying to rob them to support our extravagant, spoiled and unproductive lifestyle.2

  1. The rest of the video belabours the point and doesn’t offer much deep insight. It’s not Janssen’s best work. To Janssen’s credit, he’s lived and worked in China and speaks fluent Chinese.

  2. If you work in the financial industry FIRE (finance, insurance and real estate), you may be generating income but you are not creating any products or consumable services. Most of us do, or at least in industries supporting FIRE. Historically about half of my own work time has been working to support FIRE industries.

More Canadians suffer from TDS than any other country in the world. Their symptoms are deeper and more bitter than I’ve heard anywhere. Most of the world doesn’t care much, one way or the other, about Trump.3 On 7 November after Trump’s resounding victory in the US Presidential election, the question Canadians are asking themselves is how Trump could win in 2024 with about the same number of votes as in 2020.

Vote count in 2020 and 2024 US presidential elections
Vote count in 2020 and 2024 US presidential elections
Vote count in 2020 and 2024 US presidential elections

Great question. The answer is the absence of ballot stuffing in 2024. Republican and clean voting activists did yeoman work cleaning the electoral register and vetting incoming postal ballots.

Wackford Squeers wrote a concise summary.

Some lib asked “18 million ballots were rejected and purged HOW?

Via the good people at StopBogusBallots.com and Common Sense Elections.  Thank you, Austin, Texas-based ballot security expert Jay Valentine!

What Common Sense Elections discovered in Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin:

—Across these states, 660,290 mail-in ballots are tied to registered voters who permanently moved to other states. These absentees number 68,983 in Georgia (far exceeding Joe Biden’s 2020 margin of victory: 11,779 votes); 262,488 in Pennsylvania (which Biden won by 80,555); and 42,043 in Wisconsin (Biden’s by 20,682).

—Voters who moved to other in-state counties total 457,310. These include 65,857 relocated voters in Michigan (which Trump won in 2016 by 10,704 votes) and 169,083 in Pennsylvania (which Trump secured in 2016 with 44,292 votes).

Voters who moved and left no forwarding residence total 146,160.

—Those linked to invalid addresses total 663,514. Pennsylvania is home to 346,505 such “voters.”

—Voters recorded as residing at commercial sites: 4,914. These reflect, among others, “voters” at Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport and a vacant lot at 9145 Mann St., Las Vegas.

—A staggering 916,100 voters are enrolled with missing or incorrect apartment numbers. This boosts the odds that postal workers will leave unclaimed ballots in lobbies or mailrooms, where harvesters can retrieve and abuse them.

—All told, these screwy ballots total 2,848,288—in just these six states and involving only these six anomalies shown here. Deeper and wider scrutiny has yielded graver worries.

The good news is that Common Sense Elections’ technology identifies these suspicious destinations. It then asks county clerks not to send them mail-in ballots.

CSE also monitors ballots that are filled in and returned. It flags those that arrive from fishy addresses and advises election officials not to count them.

Mail-in and expatriate ballots have become the most popular election fraud method. The way to stop it is to only allow in-person voting with paper ballots which can be recounted. If someone cannot be bothered to show up with official ID to vote, that person does not deserve to have a vote. If this means a certain number of seniors cannot vote, so be it. It’s an open question that whether people who are so elderly that they cannot move or follow the news are qualified voters.4 Having a pulse should not be the only requirement to cast a vote.5

Would it have been better for the United States to have had Donald Trump as president for two consecutive terms or with an interrupted second term is a question for which we’ll never have an answer. In principle, for the deep changes Trump and his supporters (including Elon Musk, Tulsi Gabbard and RFK Jr) would like to implement, today is a more propitious time than in the middle of the mock pandemic.

That the USA has figured out how to defuse mail-in ballot fraud is good news for the rest of the world. Let’s hope the trend continues. If our goal is democracy, there’s literally no point in holding dishonest elections.

  1. And for good reason. The policies of the two state parties have been so similar for the last thirty years. Under the uniparty system it doesn’t make much difference who is the US president.

  2. An exception should be made for people who are genuine invalids but otherwise of sound mind. This exception would not apply to mental illness but only to physical limitations.]

  3. In many societies, to have the right to a vote required a person to own property. The requirement was put in to ensure that those voting had a stake in society and its long term prosperity. It makes some sense that this threshold was removed to ensure that property owners could not conspire against the working class.

On the other hand, giving the vote to everyone risks mob rule. The solution is to ensure that almost everyone in society has a stake in its prosperity. If the underclass is very small, mob rule is not a threat. If a society destroys its middle class and leaves only a 1% with an underclass which is about half of society, the decisive role in any election belongs to the underclass.

Effectively democracy becomes impossible as that class will continue to vote themselves benefits until society collapses.

Boeing through hook and by crook had become the world’s only major passenger plane manufacturer. Their order books was years deep, with tens of billions of orders waiting to be fulfilled. Somehow they’ve managed to sink into near insolvency. How did it happen?

Boeing spent tens of billions of dollars over years and years buying up their own stock. They refused to invest in new designs, they refused to invest in their workers, they refused to invest in their process, their tooling, their research and development, and instead played financial games designed to boost their stock price while ignoring the fundamentals of their business. This is what happens when MBA’s take over a company, and Boeing has become a shining example of what not to do with a major company if you care about it surviving, growing, and prospering over the long run.

If, however, your goal is to “bust out” the company and snap up the wealth while destroying it, then Boeing is a shining example of exactly what to do and how to do it. Who knew “Mafia 101” would become a major part of the MBA curriculum? Then again, with hypercapitalism and all, maybe Mafia 101 is the new and improved ultimate goal.

> “When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men in a society, over the course of time they create for themselves a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it.” – Frederic Bastiat, “The Law”_

Again, it’s the idea that a corporation is responsible to make as much money for its shareholders as possible. The issue is with timeline. As much money as possible in the next six months, or as much money as possible in the next six years, or to generate as much value as possible in the next sixty years.

Henry Ford thought in terms of decades. The current crop of business people appear to be crooks in suit, devoid of both patriotism and common decency. When these are the values one promolgates in one’s cinema, in one’s press and in one’s universities, these are the values one will see both among bootblacks and among one’s elite.

Financialisation is the gutting of an economy. Each agent of financialisation who takes an unearned piece of the pie leaves less on the plate for those who do contribute to society, with their services, their labour or their goods.

vao makes a strong argument that no popular movement in Europe will be able to derail Atlanticist EU politicians at Naked Capitlaism.

What if massive support swings behind the AfD or any party for that matter than does not bleat the Russiadidit line.

Irrelevant. The gilets jaunes were ultimately defeated by relentless police and judicial brutality; the concessions granted by Macron were limited and have been swamped since by the consequences of the pandemic and the sanctions against Russia.

Governments have been learning from the gilets jaunes events how to deal with massive popular movements, and have since geared up for that (also in terms of legal tools). I notice that the German police is already on the offensive against the AfD, raiding its headquarters.

Will there be terrorist attacks?

Irrelevant. Historically, no terrorist movement, be it the best organized and supported by foreign countries, ever represented a truly existential issue for governments. The Rote Armee Fraktion in Germany, Action Directe in France, Brigate Rosse in Italy, Cellules Communistes Combattantes in Belgium, ETA in Spain — they were all crushed.

Nowadays, the security and surveillance apparatus is way more developed and capable than in the 1970s-1980s. For governments, terrorism will be an annoyance, not a peril. Just like Al Qaeda.

How much support will there be for the EU seeing the economic disaster they they have lead the continent into?

Irrelevant. Remember what happened in Greece, where there was a massive popular push against the EU? It was choked by the tentacular EU institutional framework that controls such vital economic elements as banking, money and budgets.

If things go as planned, the EU will have even more power to thwart any opposition to its policies — e.g. with the end of unanimity rule for EU decisions, or the introduction of a “digital central bank currency”.

Basically, you are presuming that “voice” will be the major reaction to the disaggregation of European economies. I do not see any chance of this having a transformatory impact — short of an actual pan-European revolution.

I have the feeling that “exit” is actually what will happen — for instance: emigration to Canada and Australia, or to oil&gas producing countries; massive increase in moonlighting and black market; abandonment of legal recourses and official State structures in favour of mafia networks (already happening in Italy); rampant adoption of extra-European currencies in preference to an unremittingly devaluing Euro. Perhaps Russian-speaking minorities in the Baltic States and Wolgadeutsche in Germany will return to Russia. In short, people will give up on Europe as we know it.

The defanging of the Gilets Jaunes, a genuinely popular movement in a state with a revolutionary tradition is a worry.

I think vao underestimates the damage that popular revolutionary movements can do. Radicals will find a way to go underground. Nineteenth century Tsarist Russia was one of the world’s great powers but still they could not stop their own revolutionaries who toiled from the first attempt on the life of Tsar Alexander the II in 1866 to 1917 to destroy the central government until they succeeded.

The argument is that the surveillance state will stop revolution before it can occur. In my opinion, revolutionaries will adapt and become more dangerous. Power politics depends on being able to introduce more massive force quickly whenever there is a break in the dam. This will work but will depend on a network of concentration camps to isolate and then terminate those who will not go along with supranational or plutocratic policies.

Solzhenitsyn’s maxim that there are always more of us than there are of the security organs still applies. We are moving into dangerous times when the Gulag Archipelago has become a how-to manual for fighting against governmental overreach in the West.

Apparently Astra-Zeneca and Johnson and Johnson are working on a new ‘safer’ version of their Covid-19 vaccines which will reduce side effects. Most of us, including Stranger in a Strange Land, had heard the vaccines were already safe:

I don’t understand? Why would they need to work on modifications to reduce deadly side-effects? That makes no sense, because they told me it was completely safe and effective. Were they lying then, or lying now?

More amusing is the conversation the rats are holding among themselves:

Overhead in lab –

Rat 1: “Hey, have you gotten your Covid jab yet?”

Rat 2: “Nah, I’m waitin til the human trials are over”

It’s a rare treatment which is tested on humans first. Well there were animal tests, but some doctors allege many animals including cats and ferrets died. Others (ex-House of Lords, ex-BBC bofffins) say nonsense. Either way, the rats probably have the right idea, waiting this one out. My suggestion to prepare for Covid-19:

  1. do lots of exercise
  2. eat healthily
  3. take your vitamins, an everyday vitamin plus vitamin D and zinc supplement in winter.
  4. in conjunction with points one and two you should lose some extra kilos through the extra exercise
  5. sleep properly and thoroughly so that when you are exposed to the virus there’s a chance that it won’t catch hold at all and that if it does, your body is well-rested and can stave it off quickly

The above steps will help. What will not help is over-eating, being stressed, not sleeping properly, eating poorly – that combination seems plus Covid-19 seems quite deadly. People of colour apparently are suffering more from Covid-19 than many white social groups. From reports, it’s due to diet and lifestyle rather than any genetic difference. So the above rules apply to people of all ages, shapes, sizes and colours. The best way not to get sick is to live healthily

That’s not to say go out and run a triathlon or marathon. Marathon runners, competitive cyclists and especially triathletes put absurd amounts of stress on their body. The original marathon runner dropped dead after delivering his message. Modern runners and triathletes drop dead in their late thirties and early forties very often. Moderate, reasonable exercise which leaves you feeling energised is what is recommended. Not exhausting your physique with a starvation diet and high speed distance training.

We’ll know a lot more about these vaccines one year after they’ve been in wide use and after a winter (flu season, Covid-19 resurgence). By that time, if all has gone well, ‘new’ and ‘improved’ versions will be ready for us.

All information related to Canada’s first Prime Minister, Sir John A. MacDonald has apparently disappeared from the Canadian Archives.

Our current website contains information that was written many years ago,” states a notice posted on the website.

Unfortunately, it does not always reflect our diverse and multicultural country, often presenting one side of Canada’s history.

Library Archives Canada acknowledges that some of its online presence is offensive and continues to correct these issues. That is why content that is redundant or outdated will be removed or rewritten.

While Sir John A. MacDonald was not a particularly nice man (he didn’t much like Indians, Chinese or competitors), he did play a very big role in pushing the railroads across Canada. Learning about the bad things we did to the Chinese workers (they died in scores, about 600 out of 15000 total workers) was part of getting through high school. We had to watch a 447 minute dramatisation of the events in the series The National Dream, written by Pierre Berton and featuring actor William Hutt in a brilliant performance as Sir John A. Macdonald. Three million people watched the first release.

[fvplayer id=”20″]

For some reason, the CBC has made it almost impossible to view The National Dream despite almost universally [glowing reviews]:

I watched this as a kid in 1974 and I loved it. Recently I tried to find this CBC Canadian Broadcasting Company show. You can only watch it if you are a registered educational institution and a paid member of Curio.ca. So if you have kids in a Canadian school, maybe you can get it through them….it IS possible to obtain a copy of this series on DVD. After much searching, I found that it can only be purchased directly from the Educational Services department of the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation), although it is quite pricey (approximately 200CAD).

Does it really make us more intelligent, wiser or more virtuous to stick our heads in the sands and ignore history? The Zerohedge discussion was fierce, starting with some famous quotations about history featuring mainly George Orwell but extending to Chairman Mao. A fair amount of vitriol was heaped on Canadians and Canada, by both Americans but even more often by actual Canadians. Logical, as the people who feel most strongly about Canada and Canadians, are Candians ourselves. Here’s some highlights without commentary. I don’t agree with all or even most of the remarks here but they are all thought-provoking. Have we really come to the point that we cannot stand the truth or to look into a mirror?

For the first few copied comments, I did not record the original poster’s screen name but just the comment.

Some Individual Comments on the cancellation of Sir John A. Macdonald

History must be erased…that’s the entire point.

“Political correctness is communist propaganda writ small. In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.” ― Theodore Dalrymple

“Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past.”

― George Orwell

Straight outta Mao’s playbook:

Eliminate the 4 Olds:

  1. Customs
  2. Culture
  3. Habits
  4. Ideas

They are running the Commie cultural revolution by the book.

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.” ― George Orwell, 1984

Who knew that Winston Smith works for Canada’s national archive?

“The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.” – George Orwell

”In Canada, once a progressive, non-offensive nation that left-wing Americans fantasized about moving to every time Republicans won an election, we hear the same arguments the Left makes about our Founders. Rioters have torn down a statue of founder John A. McDonald. “Canada Day” has suddenly become contraversjust like the Fourth of July. Leftists claim Canada is indigenous land, so the country itself is illegitimate. If white leftists really believe this, they should move to Europe.“

Gregory Hood. American Renaissance.

I believe Stalin did similar things. If we don’t keep all our history, both the bad with the good, then we don’t learn from it right?

Lively Discussion around Canada and Canadians and Cancel Culture

Many feel that Canada might be at the forefront of Cancel Culture. For once Canada will be in the vanguard of culture.

yerfej:

The funny part is that progressive whites don’t realize the end goal is THEIR elimination. Just look at the level of importation of everything from every corner of the earth who’s a victim. The west is done and white people are going to be removed, other than the “elites” of course who will demand the role of royalty replacing such figures as MacDonald.

Zoomorph:

The “elite” will be removed too, unless they have a plan to purge the mass majority of the human population, which hopefully they do.

Your average white Canadian doesn’t care because they believe the world would be just as well off if they were replaced by some foreigner. No appreciation for their culture or history.

yerfej:

White people in the west are too stupid and lazy to realize their destiny has been telegraphed in Rhodesia and South Africa. The purge will be violent and bloody while the progressive dolts on the recieving end will be screaming “but look what we did for you” as they’re slaughtered.

Zoomorph:

The vast majority of Canadians are sheep who naively trust their government and have no concept of personal freedom or rights or skepticism or other such things that still exist in the US. This enabled Canadians to be conquered and controlled much more easily, really with practically no resistance. Canadians have zero organized resistance such as militia. It’s not part of their culture, and the small minority that go that route are widely ridiculed even by people who might otherwise agree with them politically.

Quia Possum:

Don’t be too smug in that, traditional rural America is dying off and most of their kids want to move to the city. Blackrock and Gates types will come to own their farms, while their kids own nothing and are happy. And any organized “militia group” in America is likely composed of at least 40% federal agents or informants.

Nelbev:

this is government sponsored cancel culture stuff. Here in Baltimore they did same tearing down Christopher Columbus’ statue and throwing broken marble in harbor last summer. This maybe small group 50-100 woke antifa BLM people and just blocks from the main police station. The police did nothing to stop the vandalism which they clearly could have stopped. The same in Canada with Queen Victoria or Sir John Alexander Macdonald. The police are being told by politicians to stand back and do nothing. We also had middle of the night city remove confederate statues, no hearing. Cancel culture and 1619 project – and these idiot youth think somehow this is woke and fights racism, give me a break, police should arrest the lot of them for destruction of property.

American America:

By their hateful and racist actions, the so-called woke crowd are stirring up old racists and creating new ones in droves.

20-20 Hindsight

Woe Canada! My country has disappeared before my eyes these past five years.

newworldorder:

Could not have been done, without the complete abdication of Canadian White Society.

The same can be said of what is happening in the USA.

NAV:

“In China’s Cultural Revolution, the Red Guards mindlessly destroyed much of China’s priceless cultural heritage as part of the deranged agenda of destroying whatever was traditional and valued by ‘counter-revolutionaries.’ [As did Stalin.] Out with the old, in with the new–the time-honored pattern of power grabs masked by utopian goals.

“If in doubt, purge, destroy, denounce. This is the Inquisition nature of all Cultural Revolutions.“ — Charles Hugh Smith

The world is being reset in a worldwide takeover by the parasitic elite – the elite globalists who control the money supply, ie, the power.

American America:

Hey, when the pendulum swings back the other way, politically, and it will, can we cancel Trudeau?

Zoomorph:

When they are importing millions of leftist-voting immigrants each year while white populations are in decline due to low birth rate, the pendulum ain’t swinging back.

HideTheUgly:

can’t wait to see canada round up all the non vaxxinated

Seal Team 6

These people have the 2nd largest land mass on earth and their house prices match London. Only a totally corrupt and vile system can result in that.

Canada is a living example of how woke leftist ideology can take a vast, rich land with decent, well educated people and over 40 years turn it into a third world shthle!

Twisted Forklift:

Dead.White. Males. Matter.

Signed,

The ghosts of civilization, history, mathematics, philosophy, literature, industrialization, craftsmanship….. and a few others too numerous to mention because of the ADD culture.

Cosmo Joe:

So by removing a website, it suddenly never happened huh? These people really are complete f***ing retards.

WAIB:

As a Canadian living less than 80km from Ottawa, I can tell you from boots on the ground experience, people don’t seem alarmed by what is going on, they are so blind it’s dangerous…

chinese.sniffles:

Yeah, I really cannot comprehend wtf is wrong with people in Canada right now. They do as the tee vee tells them, pure drone thinking. We are a nation of sheep and we love being slaughtered because government says so. I just can’t get that. why? why would people just take .gov at face value and do whatever .gov commands. No regard for own health, people say that if something happens the public healthcare system will fix them, wtf.

radical-extremist:

The Woke contagion started in the American academy has spread like wildfire in other western countries. It’s not just about the US. It’s a tearing down of all white western cultural values and systems. After “the long march through the institutions” destroying historical records is the next stage.

This has all been done before by the Jacobins, the Bolsheviks and Mao’s Red Army.

OliverAnd:

Diversification? Less than 5% of the total population is Canada is LGBT, yet they get 25% of the year to celebrate; the season that you can actually walk outside with a shirt. The entire country is under a blanket of weed smoke as the government watches the youth smoke their future away destroying there already limited brain cells. How many people have died from pot related use… ie car crashes? $6 billion in tax revenue but many more in cost. The police are not concerned about weed being exchanged outside and inside schools; all they care about is loss in tax revenue!!! An economy solely based on home property values. A bunch of retarded psychopaths running a country to the ground… and I mean from every party. Canada is 2/5 Chinese, 2/5 Indian/Pakistani; the remaining 1/5 is everyone else. 10 Provincial representatives for the Queen of ENGLAND and one for the entire country… when one is more than enough. A G7 banana republic literally high on itself corrupted to the atom. A British ‘ex’ colony as banana as Jamaica, Barbados, Seychelles, etc.

Kong Smash:

Canada is the evolved version of us. We will get there though.

Thurmonster:

Those that don’t know history are doomed to repeat it, ergo, those who want to hide history want it to be repeated. The tyrants are just getting warmed up and they have the useful idiots to do their dirty work.

aging perplexity:

All this revising and toppling leaves one breathless at the abject stupidity of those promoting this politically correct narrative.

Stuff happened and no cancelling records or statues can change this. In fact, an accurate record of the past is essential to understand the why and wherefore …… and to make decisions so that we can now act differently.

However, judging by the course taken by present day “justice warriors” even worse atrocities are being and will be committed…. all the while the perpetrators claiming moral superiority.

Chipper609:

I remember when MTV played music videos, the WSJ was a business newspaper, and ESPN reported sports information….can be we go back to that ?

MrSteve:

George Orwell identified the memory hole as the authoritarians’ control mechanism. Marxists claimed history was dead, that Marxism was the future. And now Canada makes it come to life….erasing history, book burning, changing the past to control the future. These are weapons in a Dirty War, disappearing the opposition. Look for it everywhere.

MrBoompi:

History shouldn’t be censored. It is how we learn about ourselves, and deleting uncomfortable topics from the past stunts the intellectual development of the present.

bankonzhongguo:

It’s funny how many of us used to think “fleeing” to Canada, Australia or New Zealand was the ultimate escape plan from descending Amerikan tyranny.

Now we are seeing before our eyes – on a daily basis no less – how truly authoritarian and revisionist the Commonwealth has become…

China and Russia are aghast that the foundations of “Western” success are being dismantled in real time. Add a few years of lock-downs and Big Tech cancelling and nobody will know their own history ever again – either as a teaching tool to address real injustice, or to champion the Human Spirit overcoming oppression.

Japanese Deputy Prime Minister Taro Aso has claimed that any war between China and Taiwan would be an attack on Japan.

“If a major incident happened [in Taiwan], it would not be strange at all if it touches on a situation threatening survival,” Aso said during a speech in Tokyo. “If that is the case, Japan and the U.S. must defend Taiwan together.”

This strange language stems from the prohibition against Japan taking up arms unless its national survival is at stake. Aso’s statements are a Sophistic attempt to get around Japan’s well-earned ban on Japanese extra-territorial military activity. No surprise, Rand corportation is coaching the Japanese through the intellectual cartwheels involved:

“For example, since the United States is responsible for defending Japan under Article 5 of the security treaty, if the United States is attacked, this could affect Japan’s survival and thus can be defined as such,” Hornung wrote. “In turn, this enables Japan to use force as the exercise of collective self-defense.”

Over at Zerohedge, the talk sounds pretty much like what one would hear in a Bavarian beer hall in 1932.

Declare open “hunting” season on all foreign chinese students who are children of CCP officials

Woodenman argues there will be severe consequences for the US economy:

A lot of foolish people here do not have a clue about what can happen. In three months the entire economy collapses when China stops shipping us 80 percent of the goods that are sold in the stores.

Every store and industry would shut down across America making the Great Depression look like a picnic.

Without China we are dead in the water and if we got into a war with them we would lose even if we killed all of them.

Frankly, I’m more concerned about all the lives lost first in conventional warfare (carrier groups sunk, Chinese cities carpet-bombed) and the massive exchange nuclear weapons certain to follow than empty stores.

Kayman talks tough:

Immediately institute the Marshall Plan for rebuilding American Industry. Biggest economic expansion ever.

Throat punch China.

It’s a bold suggestion, going cold turkey. AT counters:

Much easier said than done. That would require much more than rebuilding of factories, supply chains, etc. First think about the problems facing industry in the USA – rampant over-regulation by various government departments, massive taxation, labor laws with equity mandates, high costs for everything, various social groups pushing their agendas for preferences in the workplace, followed by the slavering law firms and endless lawsuits, then look at the corruption in those who are running the whole mess. Then start the usual 7-year process of getting a building permit.

Earlier today I was discussing China’s responsibility with a resident of North America who blamed China for Canada’s problems. It’s funny how middle class North Americans who are so keen to tell the poor to take responsibility for their own lives consider they have so little agency themselves. North Americans don’t want to build factories, work in factories or produce anything. Somehow the magic money printing tree in the US Treasury and some magic derivatives tricks sold to dim-witted European partners are supposed to make up for the almost total lack of real production of the North America.

Chinese prisoners of Japanese in Manchuria

Blame China, blame Russia, never a mirror in sight.

It’s astonishing the trouble the US is unleashing on Asia (and the whole world) by fuelling conflict between Taiwan and China and Japan and China. LetThemEatRand puts Taro Aso’s pronouncements in historical perspective:

The Japanese and the Chinese absolutely hate each other. You could even say they are racist against one another. This has been going on for a long, long time. It’s one of the many ridiculous things of our time that US children are being taught about racism of whites against everyone without the slightest mention of how virtually every ethnic group in the world has a history of racism against other groups.

It’s all about tribalism. The same reason people cheer for sports teams and political parties, and ethnic groups. Basic human psychology.

Upping the ante is rarely a good idea when war is on the cards. It’s been more than seventy-five years since the last global conflict. Peace rarely endures more than two generations, now it’s been four. How quickly we forget the horrors of war, how thin the veneer of civilisation.

Which politicians: the forty year careerists

One and Only asks a very good question:

Why do people want to work for the government so bad? I get it, job stability, decent paycheck, healthcare…

He gives a few examples:

  • Nancy Pelosi 40 years.
  • Barbara Boxer 38 years.
  • Joe Biden 48 fuckin years.
  • Donald Trump – 4 years but this weird. You’re old. You’re a billionaire. Hot wife. Family…what are you doing bro?

These people are old and rich. Everyone talks shit about you. Look at Rand Paul lost his lung. Scalise got shot. You’re getting spied on, if not by your enemies, by your friends who are trying to steal your spot. The longer you’re in the more culpable you are for screwing everything up.

What do people get out of it? How do people get intoxicated by this. It seems not that fun.

Truly it doesn’t seem like much fun, but One and Only is clearly not susceptible to the drug which is power. Stalin, Hitler, Churchill, Nixon, Trudeau Sr., H.R. Clinton were all held in wholly in its thrall.

Nancy Pelosi was born rich, the daughter of a wealthy politician, closely associated with mobsters. Donald Trump also came to politics very wealthy. On the other hand, Barbara Boxer, Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton all became rich because of politics. Nancy Pelosi’s husband has made a fortune on legal insider trading while she is in office.

State of the Nation: Achievements of US Politicians over the last forty years

Since he started with forty year career politicians, it makes sense to talk about what those lifer pols achieved. It’s not a pretty picture. Imagine if you will, the year 2000, the USA runs a $200 million surplus and the national debt is at $6 trillion and shrinking. The peace dividend from the end of the Cold War is finally paying off. In 2001, Dick Cheney and his dirty birds of war come into power, orchestrate 9/11 ("the new Pearl Harbour" described in Project for a New American Century) to the War on Terror which leaves the US trillions in debt.

Graph by True Economics

Last year we had the War on Biological Warfare, which devastated the economy further and required enormous quantitive easing almost doubling the national debt or since the US runs a hundred odd illegal bio-weapons labs around the world, we could call it a spade a spade – the current war is a War on Chinese Technological Advancement. In the future, China has the right to own sweat shops but all the chip manufacturing will be in Japan, South Korea, Israel or in the worst case Taiwan. The only tool the Chinese will be given are smelters for toxic metals and screw drivers for electronics assembly. If the War on CTA follows the pattern of past US "Wars" – Cold, Vietnam, Drug, Terror – it means huge grants to the Military Industrial Complex at the expense of ordinary tax-payers. It’s an open question whether the US economy will survive this way. The current fifteen year old Sanctions War (primarily against Russia and Iran with a small cameo from North Korea) has already begun to blunt many of the US instruments of control.

The healthcare system is good enough but aside from advances in technology…the healthcare system is worse then 40 years ago. We don’t have borders anymore so people who haven’t lived here are getting to vote so what’s so special about American? Osama Bin Laden could walk over from the Mexican border and find a way to vote. My vote doesn’t feel that special anymore. Immigration is worse.

Security? We have mass shootings all the time and we get spied on so the spying isn’t even protecting us. Taxes? The rich pay nothing and the poor making less than $25,000 a year get audited 3 times more then the rich (because its cheaper). So the tax system is not even worth talking about. The economy? If you’re not pissing in a bottle in an amazon warehouse well most jobs have been outsourced or automated. Race relations? Well if you’re white you’re a Nazi and if you’re black you’re a holocaust survior or at least that’s how it gets portrayed. We have riots all the time. Race relations are non existant we can’t even talk about it.

Infrastructure? Well if you’re lucky enough to not be effected by it getting hacked maybe you get a rolling blackout if it gets hot in the desert while you’re taking off from a runway with holes in it. Science in America? The top scientist just got busted not only lying for over a year but come to find out…we funded the virus. Free Speech? Ok…bring up the lab leak theory? You’re cancelled. Our rights to speak freely? Not even a former president can speak freely without getting cancelled. No free speach anymore. I can’t even remember when the last comedy was released that I liked…in America comics get silenced for telling jokes.

I could go on and more in depth but it’s like…what do these people have to show? To brag about? Great democrats beat Trump and that’s all anyone cared about but the people who brought Trump down are all responsible for the above.

Now one and only takes us down nostalgia lane. It’s dangerous to flirt with memory. Men remember what was good and forget what was bad. Women’s memories seem to be much stickier for negative events. Still, I lived through these years too and they were pretty good in Canada too.

I remember being a kid and it was a lot better here in America. The thing that sucks if you were born like 20 years ago you’ll never know how better it was. Getting on a plane without taking your stuff off and getting groped. Telling jokes how you wanted without consequence. The dollar menu…can’t get anything for a dollar. Food in school was ok…for a kid. You could start lemonaide stand as a kid…and not get shutdown by the police for not having a permit. SCHOOL SHOOTINGS AND MASS SHOOTINGS WEREN’T EVEN A THING. Bombing weren’t a thing. You could smoke in restaurants (smoking section) and no one complained or cared. The music was pretty good (content was not Wet Ass Pussy).

You didn’t have to press 1 for English because that was our language it wasn’t an option. Even if you came illegally you learned it. Almost everyone used to be able to afford medical costs and education costs (if not there was a scholarship if you deserved it) you didn’t graduate with a mortgage. You used to be able to support a family with 1 job…and the jobs were pretty good people were shitting in bags in their delivery van like they do now with Amazon. People used to stand PROUDLY for the national anthem not kneel for it. People used to stay married, the divorce rate now is 55% and that’s not very romantic or confidence inspiring. There was a time where we were more influential than Russia…now it seems we can’t vote, we can’t protect our infrastructure or culture because Russia is omnipotent now. Anything goes its Russia.

If you’re a politician and you’ve been in the government for 40 years. What brings you back to the table with all these accomplishments? What makes it worth it? You’re rich. You’re old. None of you are in good health. You’ve really ruined our future at least our present.

Why do you want to be a politician?

While One and Only may be mostly right about the good old days – single income, two-parent families certainly lead to better childhoods – he’s mistaken about the motivation of politicians. It’s not about money or comfort. It’s about power. Some people are sociopathic and what they require from life is neither happiness or joy.

Not even debauchery and satiated hedonism are enough for them. It’s the power over others, even the power of life and death. What motivates many politicians in an unhealthy society can be seen in the serial killer confessions, whether real life or cinematic. The release, the joy is in the ability to end or destroy another human life. The crazy lady laugh of Hillary Clinton when talking about the destruction of Libya and death of Ghadaffi is a good real life example caught on film.

[fvplayer id=”15″]

The US system is thoroughly broken though. Barrack Obama’s Cairo Speech was fabulous, where a clear commitment was given to peace in the Middle East. Obama was not allowed to implement any of it. Donald Trump’s commitment to end the new Cold War and focus on building US infrastructure and creating new technology would have been a breath of fresh air for the world. Any politician with principles who is not under the control of the Permanent War cabal is run out of politics, a recent example being Tulsi Gabbard. So we live on as the chattel of crooked sociopaths, themselves doing the bidding of psychotic plutocrats.

What happened to government of the people, for the people, by the people?

Should even Americans trust the US Army? Apparently not. They’ve just incinerated over 10 million kilograms of toxic AFFF in urban areas! AFFF is short for Aqueous Fire Fighting Foam.

AFFF contains contaminants known as perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS); exposure to trace amounts of these synthetic chemicals is associated with a variety of detrimental health effects, and some have argued that PFAS are so risky that they not only endanger public health but threaten to undermine human reproduction writ large.

The burn sites were apparently mostly in low income areas. It’s unlikely that Nancy Pelosi would countenance such activities next to her manor or her children’s manors.

Some commenters wanted to suggest that these deadly shenanigans are a recent phenomenon and that in the past the US military would never play with or endanger American lives. mcmlvii points out that such toxic experiments killed his own father:

They have been engaging in unethical practices for nearly a century. My dad participated in poison gas experiments in 1943 at Edgewood Arsenal Maryland. When he died of colon cancer exacerbated by deterioration of the liver and pancreas in 1988, and doctors confirmed that the problems were related to chemical toxins, the VA accused us of lying and claimed that the US Army did not conduct such experiments in WWII because of the furor over the use of poison gas in WWI. My family has the Army documents from Edgewood Arsenal thanking my dad for his participation in the experiments. My mom contacted Porter Goss, who was then a member of Congress, and he helped us force the VA to publicly admit to the experiments. When government agents came to the house to see the documents, we had them under glass so they could not physically touch them. They were openly angry about that, but admitted they were authentic. They left after only about 5 minutes and within a few days issued their public confession. It’s old news to me that the US government can’t be trusted.

I thought only Muslim savages, Iranian barbarians, Iraqi Batthians, Afgan Taliban, Russian bullies, Serbian monsters, Libyan rapists, Syrian civilians and Asian (Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, etc.) Communists were subject to the depredations of the US military liked depleted uranium munitions and white phosphor. Silly me. Some of their very best and most expensive toxic waste are reserved for consumption exclusively by a domestic audience.

The cupidity and stupidity of Americans and their institutions continues to astonish. Fracking their own groundwater for oil polluting their agricultural aquifers for hundreds of years to obtains oil which they sell at a loss via companies funded via funny money only exist thanks to an overheated investment environment apparently only scratches the surface of their ability for self-harm.

The Americans are busy blaming China again for Covid-19, arguing that it was a biological weapon. Dr Robert Redfield named in the CNN report below is the former director of the CDC.

And while the rest of the world was told the only initial Covid-19 cases in China had originated from a wet market in Wuhan, Redfield is confident the evidence suggests that was simply not the case. According to Redfield, even his counterpart at the China CDC, Dr. George Gao, was initially left in the dark about the magnitude of the problem until early January. He described a private phone call he had with Gao in early January 2020, when Gao became distraught and started crying after finding “a lot of cases” among individuals who had not been to the wet market. Gao, Redfield says, “came to the conclusion that the cat was out of the bag.”

Dangerous accusations and finger pointing at China have led to demands from people like End Times Prophecy for reparations from China:

Why hasn’t the United States sued China for all the losses/damages that occurred during the shutdown/false imprisonment? Where do U.S. Citizens go to sue the government for civil rights violations and breaches along the same lines (There are no courts)?

Strange. Since when is China accountable in US courts? The USA has been desperately trying to eliminate sovereign immunity for the last thirty years and had some success with Argentina, but their ham-fisted attempts at extortion don’t fly against peers (Russia, China).

More to the point, the US National Institute of Health was funding the Wuhan research. It was a contract assignment as A guy points out:

“Why hasn’t the United States sued China for all the losses/damages that occurred” Because the US was deeply involved in the Gain of Function work done at the Wuhan lab. including funding it. A CCP indictment would also be a US gov’t indictment.

As the world’s largest creator of biological weapons, the last legal change the United States would want would be for countries who allow for the escape of biological weapons to be held responsible for the damages. In this particular case though, is the US biological weapons program responsible for the Covid-19 in the wild?

It’s very strange though that the initial gain of function research had been done in the United States (Fort Derrick) and that the research in Wuhan was actually funded by Dr. Fauci via the NIAID (National Institutes of Health).

Ockhams Razor notes the connection even documented in research papers.

As a 30+ year physician with Masters in Human Molecular Genetics, and 30 years operational military medicine, this has all been known since Nov of 19. Any one can go to PUB MED and look up the NAIAD, Chapel Hill, Ft. Detrick, and labs research progress through 2004 to 2019. This bug is Dr Fauci’s.

vova 3.2018 notes these biological weapons programs have been going on for a long time and this is not the first accident.

The first casualty of war is always truth. да – Redfield, the same guy who caused Trumps downfall is now spinning it. Redfield knows that this is the Fort Detrick-19 leak he talking about and simply switched the lab to Wuhan. They actually reported the closing down of Fort Detrick in August 2019 them blamed subsequent deaths on Vaping and attempted to keep a lid on it till US military turned up at Wuhan October 2019 and thus spreading it to China so could conclude the cover up and get away with it scot free. It was documented by Fort Detrick in 2015 they working on this exact virus at this bio warfare lab. Pentagon Biolaboratories – Investigative Documentary [fvplayer id=”6″] Research by the pentagon on virus, bacteria & tocsins is done in the US & overseas (25 countries). In the US the work is done under DTRA, DARPA & private contractors. Only scientists with top-secret clearances are allow inside these pentagon top-secret bio-labs AV9 – Pentagon Bio-weapons … EXPOSED! [fvplayer id=”7″] Case closed and no back tracking now. Clear evidence trail.

It’s not just the Russians who think this either. Buckaroo Banzai puts an American and very alarming spin on the vova’s comments:

lol, who believes the CDC anymore about anything? But the CDC does perform a useful service now. A good starting point for discerning the truth is to closely examine everything the CDC says, and then assume the opposite is actually true. Covid is one half of a binary bioweapon that was created at the Army/CIA bioweapons lab at Fort Detrick, MD during the summer of 2019. Once development of the weapon was complete, the Ft. Detrick lab was “shut down for safety reasons” so they could destroy all the evidence. Then the virus was released by the US Army at the Military World Games in Wuhan in October of 2019. End of story. PS–what’s the other half of the binary bioweapon? The mRNA/viral vector gene-altering shot masquerading as a “vaccine”. Act accordingly. PPS–who is this bioweapon targeted at? You. Because the people that rule over you, despise you.

How and why? For the moment, I think it’s an (inevitable) accident. Play with fire, get burnt. Some believe it’s deliberate. halleys5 swings for the fences:

It would have taken too long to transform society a la “Logan’s Run”(1976) where we all just accept that TPTB don’t want you around past the age of productivity, unless you are part of the ruling class. A virus and vaccine is much faster, plus someone might still remember the Logan’s Run movie and smell the rat. “It’s 2274, and on the surface, it all seems to be an idyllic society. Living in a city within an enclosed dome, there is little or no work for humans to perform, and inhabitants are free to pursue all of the pleasures of life. There is one catch however: your life is limited and when you reach thirty, it is terminated in a quasi-religious ceremony known as “carrousel”.” aka the vaccine ;)

I’m not ready to accept the Logan’s Run version of events but there are many, many inconsistencies in the official stories. The current vaccines are basically untested. We are in the middle of a global medical experiment, South Korean population as lab rats. For better or worse, most developing and undeveloped nations will neither be able to pay for or organise mass vaccinations on the scale of the West.
